Dear Peggy
Signs of dangerous lung/chest infection:
Blue lips, wheezing, shortness of breath, "barking" cough, pulling in of the muscles inbetween the ribs and flaring of the nostrils when breathing and fever.
Bronchitis usually have a wet sound - you can hear the phlegm "rattling" when she breathes and she coughs up phlegm.
Best to give for a wet cough is something like Bisolvon or Guanephesin, for a wheezy or dry cough especially with fever - rather see a doctor.
