Post Ceasar Pains
Dear GynaeDoc,
My sister had a ceasar 4 weeks ago. She is experiencing pain above the cut. Is this normal? What could be the cause? Other than the pain medication she was given what else can you recommend to relieve the pain.She has been unable to eat or drink because of the pain. She will be seeing her gynae in 2 weeks time.

Thre pain sounds quite severe. She may have a wound infection. I would suggest that she tries to get an earlier appointment.
