preganancy and periods
can you fall pregnant and still have your periods? and can the the doctors count your last period using the 20th week scan estimated due date. how accurate is can that be?what is an ectopic pregnancy?

Rose, it’s possible to be pregnant have your period, but it’s unlikely. To estimate your date of delivery just add 20 weeks to the date you had your 20 week scan. Subtracting 20 weeks will more or less give you the date of your last period. It should be accurate within one week.
An ectopic pregnancy means that the fertilised egg implanted somewhere other than the inside of the womb. This usually happens in the fallopian tubes and that’s why it’s often called a tube pregnancy. Good luck.
