pregnancy and antidepressants
my wife is taking epilim 200mg twice a day as a mood stabilizer and has been on it for a year and a half now, she is also taking cilift 20mg once a day for panic attacks and has been on it for three years, now she has fallen pregnant and we would like to know if these drugs are safe and what should we do. please help

Epilim can cause birth abnormalities like a cleft lip - so you need to speak to the doctor urgently - she must be on the lowest possible dose if she can't do without it and should take folic acid supplements from day one.
