How do i work out what my resting heart rate is?

To measure your heart rate, place two fingers (not your thumb), over your wrist pulse and count for 60 seconds. Note that this must be done when you are totally rested so that you get a true resting heart rate and not one measured when you are tense or have been rushing around. Preferably sit still for 10 minutes before measuring it.
