Hi, 36yrs old female. Have been having strange headaches with other symptoms for some time now. Headaches are most on the left temporal lobe and sometimes the right. When I sleep at night, i feel this pressure in both my ears (no ear infection) - feels as if my ears are going to explode. On some days I have slight numbness on left side of my face. For some reason my teeth always feels on edge(no dental problems)

Had a lumbar puncture last year May (suspected Meningitis) The results were clear except for an unexplained high protein content.

Going insane with these headaches. My neck gets totally stiff, (muscle spasms) Had x-rays done, shows nothing except for straightening of lordosis due to muscle spams. I usually go for physio but get relief for only a short time and back to square one. Also sore muscles in legs and arms. Have had nerve tests done, shows Carpal Syndrome in both hands.

Totally Frustrated, living on painkillers which are damaging my liver. Liver Function Tests are always high. Constant pain in the liver region.

Pls Help, feeling really down.

Dear kay
I think you should try and get to the headache clinic if possible - see
Taking something like Trepilene or Tryptanol may help preventatively - you will need a prescription. This will help with the muscle spasms and probably the TM joint inflammation that you probably have as I think you are gnashing your teeth in your sleep! ( See
