Staffie/10years/stroke on Karsivan
My staffie was recently diagnosed with horners syndrome. She has been put on to Karsivan tablets now for the rest of her life. At R395 per month. Is there any alternative/generics available?

Horner's syndrome is caused by a lack of adrenergic nurse applied to the eye. This nerve originates in the spine in the upper chest and then runs along the neck and pass the ear towards the eye. Damage anywhere along this tract can result in Horner's syndrome. In most cases a specific cause is not found.

There is no generic to the product you mentioned. It is very good for age-related brain problems, but may not make any difference in this case, depending on the cause.
