stomache growling
Hi,

I notice recently that my stomache always growl after a meal. What is the reason behind this? Is it due to the kind of food I ate or may it be because I overate? This is really irritating as it embarrasing that people around me hear sound coming out from my stomach.

Dear Shenice

Thank you for visiting health24.com.

The cause of stomach crowling, is called peristalsis, which is defined as normal movement of the bowl. Your stomach can crowl due to overeating or because it is irritated by gassy drinks or fatty food.

Kind regards
