stretch marks
Since there is not a skin doctor anymore i wonder if you can help me? Is there anything that really helps to take a away existing stretch marks, or make it less visible?
Dear Embarrassed
Stretch marks are injured collagen tissue in the skin, and the red marks you see is due to the injury. With time it forms scar tissue and becomes less obvious and whiter. Dermabration, chemical peel and laser treatment may help to make it less obvious but will be regarded as cosmetic surgery by most medical aids and thus not covered.
