Hi there
Someone at the office has just been diagnosed with TB. Should all of us be tested? I just know this via someone working closely with this person. Is Human resources supposed to inform all of us? Her work was of such a nature that she was moving around the office a lot and she has been coughing the last 6 months or so we were all exposed to her coughing. Are there some organized group that deals with this kind of thing? THANKS ...very worried .

Concerned, you can have a test called a PPD (purified protein derivative) done to see if you are immune or not. It will also be able to tell you whether you have an active infection or not. You can have it done at any of the chemical pathology laboratories in your area. Good luck.
