the sun and me
I spend a lot of time in the sun and without sun block, in fact I rather put tanning oil on. I have now developed a wart like sore on my left leg, just above the ankle it is pinty hard like a wart, dry but the base is red around this "wart" and on touching it, it is very painful. What could this be?

Cabernet, it sounds like solar keratosis – a skin disorder due to sun damage. The worrying bit it the red base and that’s why I think the best would be to see your doctor. Good luck.
