Toddler lactose intolerant
My 20 month old baby is lactose intolerant, should I be giving her a multi-vitamin to make up for her lack of milk? She eats cheese in small quantites every day and I give her a soya yogurt equivalent almost every day.
Dear Rene
Just supplement her calcium intake by giving her calcium fortified soya milk. Many of the vitamins you buy at the pharmacy contains lactose to make it sweet - read the label first!
