Turning baby manually
Can anyone possibly tell me how it works when the baby hasn't turned head-down yet by 36 weeks? What does the procedure entail to turn the baby around manually? What are the risks involved, if any? If anyone has ever had this done, please post what your experience was like?

The head and bottom of the baby are gripped and the baby is then turned in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction.Sometimes an injection is given to relax the uterus first.
There is a small risk of shearing off a part of the placenta or of the cord getting twisted. In this case, an emergency caesarean would be done. The risk of this happening is less than 1%.
