Vegetable smoothies
Hi Doc

My husband has been blending and drinking vegetable smoothies each evening, as he believes he is getting his daily intake of fruit and raw vegetables in this way.
This is what he uses:
- Citrus fruit (Grapefruit and oranges)
- Banana' s
- Tomatoes
- Broccoli
- Spinach
- Carrots
- Apples
- Other green veg

Is this healthy? Should he be doing it this way? Are there any concerns to this?

Look forward to feedback

Dear Sr
There is no danger in taking in raw fruits and vegetables and the average suggested quantity is 5 (fruits & vegs together) per day.
