A woman can get pregnant from pre-cum, as well as without having intercourse. The chances of this are slim, but it is still a possibility. Sperm on a person’s hands (hands that touch the woman’s vaginal area - and yes, it can be her own) or sperm on vaginal lips can make their way into the woman and survive that long trip up the fallopian tubes to fertilize an egg.

It is highly unlikely that she will get pregnant, however, it is not impossible. Fooling around, making out, petting, and kissing are all forms of foreplay. However, if both partners are naked when fooling around then there is a slight risk of becoming pregnant, especially if semen is near the vaginal opening. It is always a good idea to use protection if you are naked, even if there is no penetration. This not only prevents pregnancy, but also protects you from contracting STI’s (sexually transmitted infections).

Nothing is better than “peace of mind” when waiting to find out if someone is pregnant. If you are concerned that your partner may be pregnant and want to find out now, take a pregnancy test.

Good luck
