Can you tell me if you permanently take a tablet for frequent outbreaks of shingles that you will mutate the virus in your system should you stop taking it or forget for a few days

Unfortunately I do not know the answer as I do not treat patients. Best would be to take the medication exactly as perscribed by your doctor.
