I've been on birthcontrol for 4 years. How long should i wait after stopping birth control (Yasmin) to fall pregnant?

Dear Liz

After stopping oral contraceptives, the ovulation, or your fertility, should return very soon thereafter. I would certainly allow at least between 7-9 months before seeking professional help to fall pregnant. However, should your cycles become irregular shortly after stopping the ontraceptive pill, then I would recommend that you visit your gynaecologist sooner.
