Water and Ice tea
Hi Doc

I like ice tea very much and believe it is healthy. Can I count a glass of ice tea as one of my eight glasses of water per day that one must drink to be healthy?

Thank you for your advice.

Dear CJS
Certainly. It is not necessary to ingest only water to supply your liquid needs - all beverages (except alcoholic ones) can contribute. The added advantage of the iced tea is that is also contains bioflavonoids which are strong antioxidants that protect your body against a whole range of diseases.
