Weights and fat
Hi Doc and everyone,
Is it true that weight training should be avoided when trying to lose weight,as I read that weights build fat in the muscles.

Hi there

WRONG!!!

Weight training helps to build muscle tissue which burns up more energy than fat tissue and should ultimately help you to LOSE EXCESS FAT (if combined with healthy eating). It certainly should improve your body composition - so get weight training!!

Good luck!
