What age are you too old to have a baby?
Was just wondering when is it too old to have a baby (1st child). Does it differ from individual to individual and if you are fit, slender, healthy and young looking does this make a difference.

There is a higher risk of Down syndrome after 35, and particularly more so after 40 years. Also the risk of medical illnesses like diabetes and hypertension are greater after 40 years.
