which hysterecomy
which i s the beter op? Vaginal or using the c section cuts? I have had 2 c sections the last being 17yrs ago and was sterilised 10yrs ago the doc now says I should have a hysterectomy. I want to be ok to go on holiday (travelling mostly in medium rough roads) approx 3 weeks after the op, will this be ok?

Your doctor will have to decide the best way of doing the hysterectomy in your case. With previous surgery the abdominal route is usually done. I don't think that driving on rough roads 3 weeks after a hysterectomy will be very pleasant. Rather postpone your holiday of the surgery.
