Dear Spokie
Zinc is found in the following foods: fish, esp seafood such as oysters, meat, unsifted, whole-grains and cereals and legumes (dry beans, peas and lentils). If you are taking the supplement because you have a zinc deficiency, then it may be advisable to take the supplement for about 1 month to make quite sure that the deficiency clears up. Once this has occurred you can eat a zinc-rich diet.
