There are several points to clarify here:
1. The visible part of the clitoris IS quite small (it hides under the hood most of the time and becomes slightly bigger when aroused). Usually clitoral shrinking is related to hormonal imbalances (e.g. with menopause), or sometimes with medications which again impact on the hormones. If you are not on medication, and not within reach of menopause, then it may be just that it is less noticeable at times and that a warm bath or relaxing may help. If this is a significant concern, get it checked out by a gynae.
2. Whilst many women are aware of themselves 'ejaculating', this does not take place on every occasion where orgasm is achieved. If you mean that you don't reach orgasm with a partner, then it may be that you have become used to your own type of stimulation and, without guidance, he will struggle to replicate this (hence your need to satisfy yourself!). In this regard I would encourage you to use a lubricant to heighten sensation and either guide your partner to show him what you find pleasurable, or show him by stimulating yourself. MANY women struggle to be orgasmic on every occasion they are sexual, and many more struggle to do so via penetrative sex alone and require additional stimulation of the clitoris.
