i bleed within 24 hours of intercourse
why does this happen? I have fairly irregular intercourse and regular masturbation to orgasm. I am in late fifties and do use a hormonal creme and still have regular menstrual periods.

Bleeding after intercourse can be for a number of reasons, some quite sinister including cancer of the cervix, some not as sinister, like small abrasions due to insufficient lubrication during intercourse. Can I suggest that have this checked out with a gynaecologist or women's health specialist.
