vitamins
My son is a professional/international sportsman. I've just discovered he is taking no vitamins whatsoever. He says I taught him to eat well which he does but I'm sure he should be taking something extra because of the amount of sport he plays and the pressure. Can you advise what he should be taking by name, so I can buy it for him, bareing in mind he gets tested regularly for banned substances. Thats why I don't want to just go and buy off the shelf for him. Thanks

Eating well is the best, but yes professional athletes do put their bodies under huge stresses that normal people don’t. Thus additionally I would advice taking the following:

•Anti-Oxidants: at least 2000mg vit C which most probably will be a separate tablet as it is a huge amount. Then add on a concentrated mutli-vit with other anti-oxidants and some minerals – I like using the 3-per-day from Solal Technologies.
•Take 2-4 Salmon oil caps – any good brand or use the Sol-Oil from Solal Technologies as it contains some omega 6, borrage oil and vit E – no other brand that I am aware of has this combination.
•And lastly a mineral base powder as they sweat a lot and therefrom loose a lot of minerals which will help prevent cramping. I like to use mineral base powder by Vogel. 1 teaspoon per day is sufficient.

All of these recommendations are safe to use ito banned substances.
