Veyaya yoga
Hi Chris

I have heard about a form of yoga called veyaya yoga - all I can establish is that it is "the old Indian warrior "style and that it is not that common as the British tried to eradicate it way back when. Would appreciate if you have any further information on it.

Many thanks

Hi Curious - I haven't heard of this style of yoga at all. I believe that there are over 100 different styles of yoga presently practiced around the word as well as many variations under the Hatha Yoga umbrella but this is not one I have heard - and I have done some searching. Perhaps you have more details regarding it or where you came to hear of it?
Regards
Chris
PS: my first inkling when you refereed to a "warrior" style was to recall the Bhagavad-Gita which deals with a discussion on yoga and the Vedas (holy Hindu scriptures) between Arjuna (a mythical warrior) and Lord Krishna on a battlefield.
PPS: please do revert - I am intrigued.
