Hi Doc,
I noticed that you always recomend titanium dioxide - is this proven to be good for skin?

Titanium dioxide has been shown to be safe to use as a SPF and has FDA approval for the topical use in Children. Titanium dioxide in other forms such as powder may be associated with lung cancer when inhaled.

Titanium dioxide will not have any specific beneficial (‘good’) effects for the skin as its only function is to block the UVA and UVB rays with sun exposure.
