Always Anxious...
For more than a year now, I' ve been under a huge amount of stress (new job, new relationship, new city). I found myself wishing somebody else would crash into my car so I could end up in hospital and not have to go to work.

Recently, I' ve been feeling strange physically - hearbeat feels irregular, left arm paining, just drained in general, no appetite. The thoughts of crashing have now been replaced by thoughts of just dying...

What does this mean?

Dear Leigh

This must be very distressing for you. My advice is that you consult with your medical practitioner as there may be a number of reasons for these signs and symptoms. These symptoms may be related to a general medical condition and/or a mental health difficulty.

Best regards
