Breastfeeding after implants
I am booked to have breast implants done in less than two weeks. I am however having second thoughts due to the fact that I would still like to have another baby. I have two children and have breastfed for almost two years. I will be having silicon implants with the cut under the breast. Will this affect my ability to breastfeed in future? Most importantly I would like to know if breastfeeding after implants will affect the look of my breasts after the augmentation or have the damage been done by my first two years of breastfeeding? I am currently a 34AAA cup size and will be having 240ml implants.
Dear Linki,
Breastfeeding is definitely possible after placement of breast implants. However, you also have to consider that you will experience skin and implant sagging after breast feeding, and for this reason, alone, you might want to wait with the procedure till after you have finished with your family..
