Chondromalacia
Hi
I have been diagnosed by my biokeneticist with possible Chondromalacia. I am doing upper leg and inner thigh muscle strenghtening excersises three times a week at my local gym and I haven't run for the past two months.
What is the average time period for an injury of this sort take to heal as I would like to start running again?
Thanks

Hi Hein
How long is a piece of string?
For some rehab can work with easing of pain symptoms within a couple of weeks. For others it may need surgery if not improved after 6 months. But the important thing here is to persist with the programme set for you. Often people will complain no improvement. With myself I found that within 3 weeks I was bending and sitting without as much pain. But I followed the regime.
