Chronic Pain in iliopsoas pectineus area

Hello,
I'll give a little back ground first and try my best to explain this.
About 4 plus years ago i was training in the martial arts. One night while training i was performing a kick and heard a popping sound, after which i felt sharp pain in my left upper hip area.I was unable to left my leg to my chest as tho the muscle was weak or fatigued.

I stopped training for a long while rested up and let the injury heal, or so i thought it healed. When i returned to training, i found that the injury wasnt healed..But the pain wasnt as bad as the first time it had happened.

In the end i had to stop training altogether due to the pain and lack of strenght in the hip area.
Even after years i find if i twist wrong, or i am on my feet for very long periods of time, or stretch in odd way or workout with light weights. That area becomes fatigued and has a pain that i cant explain in works.

After going to doctor after doctor no one can tell me anything other than "well dont do that stuff and it wont hurt."

The pain is around iliopsoas pectineus muscle area as best as i can pinpoint it..

I am not ashamed to admit after 4 years of this i am frustrated to the point of a grown man crying.

Is there anything i can do to help fix my problem and return to an active life style pain free?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
geneno.

Hi geneno

Have there been any investigations done- xrays, ultrasounds, bone scans?
