Expressing and ducts
I have had a premature baby who is now in neo natal unit and I am expressing milk. While I was in hospital I had a physio assist me with ultra sound at the time my milk came in which was a huge help. However, I keep getting a blocked milk duct which is incredibly painful and when expressing the milk, does not open and drain. I have used hot towels and other heat on this. Is there anything else I can do without having to go back for more ultra sound?

Don't forget about the cabbage leaves - used for years and really work.
My wife was having a few problems and I used the Bemer 3000 (electromagnetic machine) on her and after eight minutes the milk was flowing unbelievably - much better results than I have ever seen with the ultrasound - as that one session was all it took and we have had no problems.
