hard balls and soft balls...
i played in a golf day at beachwood, durban yesterday and we were given free balls. the guys who play a half decent game tossed them away. what is the difference between soft and hard golf balls.

Golf Balls make a major difference to your game

The soft balls tend to spin more (this causes them to go more offline on a bad shot) and they tend to go shorter as well

Hard balls tend to go further and straighter, but will not spin as much. Low handicap golfers will give up distance for control
