hard round wart like thing and grows bigger this is on my 3rd toe.

i have this thing on my toe that my doctor says is a planters wart and he gave me cream for it, so i did what he said and put it on but the after 15 minutes i was in pain and could not walk i was in so much pain. so i ripped off the bandage and wiped off the cream and then put a clean bandage on this. The cream now is still on this thing and is black (the cream was black) so after a while the "thing" was clinging on to everything and it kept ripping it and i kept on seeing this core like thing so i decided to go in and fine out wat it is so i took tweezers and took a bit out and the top was black and the middle was white and the bottom was blood but wasn't bleeding this did not hurt at all Do you think i have done the wrong thing because now there is a huge hole in my toe and it is open it does not hurt but i need to know wat to do thank you

Sarah we as podiatrist and indeed all different disciplines advise our patients not to be bathroom surgeons, the advice is based on fixing unfortunate mishaps and complications that happen when lay people try treat themselves.

Yes I think you have done the wrong thing, what you should have done was to phone your doctor immediately so he/she could have advised you further.
I strongly suggest that you see your doctor soon to have them check up on what you have done
