hyper active
My baby was born 5 week prem, but according to pediatrician caught up very nicely. He is 11 months now and VERY active. I want to find out how I can determine if he is not hyperactive or if he is only very active. By when (what age) can one accurately diagnose hyperactivity in children and what is the best way to treat it?

Hallo Ronel

In all children it is a good idea to cut down on colourants and preservatives, especially red food. A child of 11 months should be very active, since exploring the environment is their way of learning. Hyperactivity is a medical diagnosis made by your doctor and can only really be diagnosed at about 4.
