"Kook-voete"
Goeie dag dok.

'n Vriendin in haar 60's, maar steeds BAIE aktief, kla geweldig oor, wat sy noem: kook voete. Dit het blykbaar al jare gelede begin, en haar voete raak so erg warm dat sy dit in koue water moet sit om af te koel - selfs in die winter!

Sy sê dat haar voete nie sweet nie, dit is net die alewige warm wat so pla. Sy was ook blykbaar al by dokters, wat niks verkeerds kan vind nie.

Sy sê dit dryf haar teen die mure uit, en kan nooit 'n kombers oor haar voete hanteer nie.
Sy was baie jare gelede 'n haarkapster, so sy was vir 'n tyd lank heeltyd op die voete. Kan dit dalk iets daarmee te doene hê?

Kook voete or burning feet occur for many reasons, to name them; Circulatory disorders, nerve entrapment (at any site above the feet if both feet it will be in the spine), electrolyte imbalances (certain hemicals that assist the bodily functions like sodium, potassium and magnesium), hormonal imbalances, corns and calluses, inorrect foot function, skin diseases, vitamin deficiencie, blood disorders like pernicious anaemia, diabetes.

She needs to see both a podiatrist and a physician with this list and she needs to exclude all of the above.
Hpefully from this list she will find a diagnosis which is managable and treatable
