Leg pain after back op
I had a spinal decompression operation in Dec '99, after injuring my back on a camping trip. I think it was the disc between the L and S vertebra. Ever since then, friends tell me my walking gait seems to have changed, and this causes a lot of pain in my left calf muscle and hamstring. The calf muscle gets as hard as rock, and I have to get my wife to massage my leg in order to get relief from pain. Would it be of help for me to see a physio for treatment on my leg?

Hi Craig

Get yourself to a physio. It sounds as though there is a whole lot out of balance and they will be able to help a lot.
