Post operation exercise
I am 57 years old and 72kgs in weight. Have just had a radical prostatectomy two weeks ago, and would like some advice on what exercises I should fo to tighten up my stomach in the first instance. Therefter what type of exercise should I take to get back into shape and get to a weight of 64kg
Hi Ken
To start with you can be doing abdominal tightening while sitting and standing, and tightening the pelvic floor muscles (same contraction as though you were trying to stop a wee).
Once you are comfortable with that you can start crunches, and then take it onto a more regular gym program - join a gym and get a program from a trainer that you know is designed for you and you will be commited too.
