Right foot Fell into hole- injured foot and ankle
I fell earlier this week into a rectangular drainage hole. At first, I only had pain in my shin...but don't remember hitting it. After about an hour, I had pain from my shin to my foot (except toes). The pain increased through out the night.
The next day, I only had pain when I sat down and minimul swelling and bruising. I went to the ER and the doctor said I sprained my ankle, but never took an X-Ray.
That night, my ankle and the top of my foot swelled a bit more and the pain increased again. The next day, it did hurt to walk on it...not only my ankle but the bottom of my foot (mostly the arch and the ball beneath my big toe).
Yesterday (friday) I woke in more pain, went to the doctor and she wanted me to get x-rays done (the bottom of my foot started to swell). I went to the ER again and that doctor disregarded my pain and said I strained my foot/ankle, not sprained, and refused to do the x-ray because it didn't hurt in "one place" and wasn't tender to the touch.
Last night the bottom of my foot swelled more. I am soooo frustrated!!!! What's going on with my foot? I does hurt to walk, not walk, elevate, etc, but doesn't "hurt" when I touch one spot. It's swelled well after the "48 hour" mark I was told of. Please help me understand.
Thank you!

This is simple
GET IT X_RAYED there are 26 bones in your foot and some of the smaller ones mar have been injured
Now I want you to go one step beyomd the er and get to an orthopaedic surgeo who hasan interest in the foot and ankle you may even need a CT scan or MRI
It is easy to miss serious injury if anyone is complacent
