Vitex Agnus Castus has been shown to help with fertility by assisting to normalize any imbalance between prolactin, progesterone and estrogen. This could help ovulation but may rather promote effective attachment of the fertilised ovum in the Uterus.
Please make sure that in your case that ovulation is indeed the area that needs attention. Many factors can influence ovulation, such as stress, nutritional status or hormonal changes. It is important to have a full hormonal profile to establish the hormonal pattern.
If the prolactin levels are too high and progesterone levels too low, vitex can assist in bringing this back into a balance.
This would take 2-3 months of the recommended dose.
