Building lean muscle
Hi Conrad!
I would like to build lean muscle as as opposed to getting 'big'. I do moto- cross racing so I dont want to put on excessive weight or bulk. What is the best way of achieving this?

It comes down to intensity and type of training. What you would want to do is to train for strength AS WELL as endurance-if I interpret your sport correctly.
You would therefore do your rep range in the 8 to 12 or even 15 rep range and your training would be sport specific. I must say I have never had to work out a program for someone doing moto-cross racing.
The best would be for you to approach a Biokineticist in the area that you live-please tell me where you live and I'll see about rferring you to someone in the vicinity of where you stay.
