When will the muscle gain stop
Hi Conrad. First of all - thanx for answering all of my questions in the pass. Your reward = some more questions. I have been training hard now for about 3 months. Really hard and eating loads of protein and trying to do all the right things. My lean body mass is increasing at a most satisfying rate : 1 kg a week [lets assume for simplicicty and focus that my calculations are correct]. I am 1.75 tall with a total weight of 84, 22.7% fat which gives me a lean body mass of around 65kg. My fat % is dropping by about 1% a week. Q1 : For the same diet+training - How long will this sort of muscle weight gains continue? Surely it must taper of at some stage? Q2: I am not using creatine but considering it. How long can I use it "on" and then how long must I go "off"? Q3 : These so called fat burners...is there any documented proof that shows how much it actually accellerate one's metabolism?

Mr R,

Well done for your results and thank you for my reward!!

1) Muscle gain will taper after a while but if you keep up your intensity and keep on "fooling" your muscles by adapting and varying your training your muscle gain should continue at an acceptable rate.

2) The best advice is that you follow the instructions on the container. They will give you the proper times and lengths to follow and stay on the creatine regimen.

3) I have seen one or two research articles stating that it does speed up the metabolism but no numbers set in stone that say it speeds it up X% or at Y rate.

Hope this helps,

Keep well,
