Allergic?
My daughter (age 6 and a half) appears to be allergic to mosquito bites - is this possible? When she gets bitten, the bite becomes large and infected almost straight away, it also comes up repeatedly as a blister, and then takes a long time to heal, leaving a nasty scar. is there anything that can be done about this other than puting on bactroban?
many thanks

Hi Sue
Yes this is quite possible - try mixing bactroban and antisan cream (or phenergan) put a thick blob on and close it up for 24 hours with a band aid as soon as you notice a bite. It is worth your while to let her sleep under a mosquito net ( even in a non malaria area!)
