Allergy to Sodium Benzoate/Citric Acid
Could you give me the name of a Specialist Physician or Immunologist in Pretoria - they will be more likely to know of someone in Cape Town, as the Namibian doctors DONT know the SA docs generally.
Also, had a strong reaction - very swollen all over body, and bad headache to TONIC WATER a couple of days ago. Is that more likely to be a reaction to the Citric Acid or the Sodium Benzoate?

CBH, it’s most probably due to the sodium benzoate. I will try to find out if there is someone in CT that specialises in allergies. Please mail me at CyberDoc@mweb.co.za as a reminder. Good luck.
