Anxiety
Hi,
I have been diagnosed with GAD and my doctor has prescribed me cymbalta. However, I have been taking 5 htp for a month now. Can I stop the 5 htp and start the cymbalta med immediately? Is it safe to be taiking the two?
Also, is cymbalta a less 'risky' anti anxiety med?

Hi Amy
Cymbalta is not addictive and a safe antianxiety med to use. Stop the 5 HT for about 3 days before you start the Cymbalta.
