What is the symtoms of an infected appendix? I am not sure and everyone has different beliefs.
Blom, the most important symptoms and signs are the following:
Symptoms:
• Colicky pain that starts around the navel and then moves to the right lower abdomen.
• Loss of appetite.
• Nausea and vomiting.
• Change in bowel habit.
Signs:
• Fever.
• Increased pulse rate.
• Coughing causes pain in the lower abdomen.
• It’s tender when you press on the right lower abdomen and the pain becomes worse when you remove your hand (rebound sign).
