Bleed
Hi
I am a male, 25. I noticed some blood in my stoole in the evening. The following morning there was only a small trace of blood. I am concerned as I have not seen this before. I am not experiencing any abdominal pains apart from feeling a little tired due to the cold i have just had. I am presently in the final stages of a cold which has lasted 4 days.
Is this seroius ?

Dear Jedi,
It could just be a pile that bleeds or a small tear in the anus. If so, it will be a little bit of red blood, seen only when you wipe and it clears up within a day or 2. If it is more blood, blackish, mixed with stool and persistent, you need to let a dr look at the problem - it may be a polyp or something higher up in the bowel then.
