Blood in my stool
Hi there,
I have been under immense stress this last week or two and I went to the toilet this morning and when I looked in the bowl there was blood in the water.
I don't feel ill but I know that my stomach has been in knots and very tight this week...should I be worried, what are the common causes for this and should i go see my GP?
Thanks
Pete

Dear Pete
If it was red blood, it could be due to a hemorroid. If the bleeding persists you do have to see a doctor as this is not normal.
