Blood in stools
Hi, I just went to the loo, and when I wiped I noticed pinkish blood on the tisshue (looks like the end of a period). I inspected my stool and found that it had some slyme on it, and there were traces of blood. As far as I know, I don't have piles, and it wasn't sore passing the stool. I am very regular and usually go at least once a day. What could be wrong with me?

Dear Gogga
You may have an internal pile that blead a bit - watch it and if it does not go away in 48 hours, please make an appointment with your doctor to have a look and to feel if you have any polyps etc inside. It is very important not to ignore symptoms because you feel scared or ashamed for the doctor to look there - 99% of rectal tumours can be felt with the doctors finger and healed 100% if found in time.
