BRONCHITIS - BLOOD FROM TONSILS ?
My husband has been battling with severe bronchitis since last week.
GP put him on Tetralysal and a cough mixture (of 2 antihistamines).
He has gotten better but the cough still persists, often with blood.
His lungs are not painful nor does he have short breath - but he says his tonsils are sore when he passes this blood.
Should we be concerned about pneumonia and what can we do about the bleeding ?

Melani, Tetralysal® isn’t the ideal antibiotic for the treatment of tonsillitis or pneumonia and it might be that he needs to take a different antibiotic. The best would be to see a doctor and make sure what the problem is. Good luck.
